How to Save televeda as an App on Your Phone or Computerp
Most modern browsers let you "install" a website so it behaves like a standalone app — with its own icon, its own window, and no browser clutter. This works on phones, tablets, and desktop/laptop computers. Below are step-by-step instructions for every major browser and platform.
Safari
iPhone / iPad
- Open Safari and navigate to the website.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Edit the name if you'd like, then tap Add.
- The site now appears as an icon on your home screen.

Note: Starting with iOS 26, websites added to the Home Screen open as web apps by default (in their own window, without Safari's toolbar). If you prefer the old bookmark behavior, toggle off "Open as Web App" when adding.
Mac (macOS Sonoma 14 and later)
- Open Safari and go to the website.
- In the menu bar, click File → Add to Dock. Alternatively, click the Share button in the toolbar and choose Add to Dock.
- Edit the name (and optionally the icon) in the dialog, then click Add.
- The web app now lives in your Dock and can also be found in Launchpad and Spotlight. It runs in its own window, independent of Safari.

iPhone / iPad
Firefox on iOS does not have a built-in "Add to Home Screen" option. Open the same URL in Safari and follow the Safari steps above.
Windows / Mac / Linux
Firefox on desktop does not natively support installing websites as apps the way Chrome and Edge do. However, there are two options:
- Experimental PWA support (Windows): Firefox has been testing PWA support under Settings → Labs (or
about:preferences#experimental). If available in your version, enable it there, then visit the site and look for an install option in the menu. - Third-party extension: The community-built "PWAs for Firefox" extension (pwasforfirefox.filips.si) lets you install any website as a standalone app with its own window and taskbar icon. It requires a small companion program — the extension walks you through setup.
Samsung Internet (Android)
- Open Samsung Internet and navigate to the website.
- Tap the hamburger menu (☰) in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Add page to → Home screen.
- Edit the name if desired and tap Add.
