How to Join a Virtual Talking Circle on Televeda as a Participant

Please follow these steps to join a Virtual Circle

Step 1: Go to live.televeda.com

Step 2: Click on Join Class

Once the event starts it will be listed under Live Events and the Join Class button will be enabled.

The Join Class button will only be visible at the official starting time, you will not be able to join the event before it starts.



Step 3: Configure Your Display Settings

You will be redirected to this page, where you have the option to change your display settings:

Change your Display Name (Optional)

Click on the name field to change your display name:

Change your Military and Tribal Affiliation (Optional)

To modify or erase text, simply click on the pen tool. While it's not mandatory, sharing your tribal affiliation, clan, and military status can facilitate connections with others and help them learn more about you.

Change your Image Icon

Click on the Change Image button to choose an avatar or upload an image from your device.



You can choose an icon from the available avatars or click on From Computer to upload your own image.

Configure your Microphone and Camera settings

You can toggle your microphone and camera on or off. Additionally, you can switch between different microphones and cameras by clicking on the downward-facing arrow. For example, you can make that adjustment if you prefer to use headphones instead of the computer speaker.

Test Audio

It's always a good idea to test your audio before joining. Click on the Test Audio button and say "Hello" a few times to test your microphone.





Step 4: Join the Waitroom

Join the waitroom by clicking on the button that says I'm Ready. Then you will need to wait a few minutes for the host to admit you.
