Classes are Listed in the Wrong Time Zone

Seeing Classes in the Wrong Time Zone?



If you go to our lobby, live.televeda.com, the classes will always be listed in your current time zone. If you move to another state or country, the class times will update automatically.

If this is not true for you, your device may be in the wrong time zone. The easiest way to check this is to Google: 'What is the time now?" and compare that to the time on your device. If the times are not the same, your device time is wrong, and you need to change your settings by following the steps below.


To reset the time on a Mac, follow these steps:



Click on the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of the screen
Select "System Preferences"
Click on "Date & Time"
Click on the lock icon in the lower-left corner of the window and enter your username and password
Click on the "Set date and time automatically" checkbox to turn it off, if it was already on
Click on the "Time Zone" tab and select the correct time zone
Check the box that says: "Set time zone automatically using current location"
Click on the lock icon again to prevent further changes


To reset the time on a Windows computer, follow these steps:



Open the Settings menu by clicking on the Windows icon in the taskbar and selecting "Settings" (gear icon).
Click on "Time & Language."
Click on "Date & Time."
Turn on the toggle under "Set time zone automatically."

To reset the time on an iPhone, follow these steps:



Go to your home screen and open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap on "General."
Tap on "Date & Time."
Turn on the switch next to "Set Automatically" to enable your iPhone to set the time zone based on your current location

To reset the time zone on a Samsung device, follow these steps:



Go to the Settings app on your Samsung device.
Scroll down and tap on "General management."
Select "Date and time."
Turn on "Automatic date and time" and "Automatic time zone."
