How to Join a Televeda Class as a Group

This guide will explain how to join a Televeda class as a group using a projector or TV.

Power on your laptop and TV.

Connect your laptop to the TV or projector using either a VGA or HDMI cable. The type of connection will depend on the models of the devices you use. The connector cable will come with your TV or projector or you might have to purchase it separately. You might also need to purchase an adapter if your laptop has a VGA port and your TV a HDMI port and vice versa. Some smart TVs will be able to connect to your laptop with bluetooth and you won't need a cable.













Once the connection is successful you will have to select the display option.

Windows

On a Windows laptop go to settings -> Display and select Extend these displays

Mac

On a Mac go to System Preferences and select your laptop as your Main display and the TV as Extended display.





PS: If you use the Duplicate these displays options both screens will be a mirror of each other. You can decide what works best for you.

Make sure the speaker is loud enough for the entire audience to hear. We recommend adding an external speaker for bigger groups.

Go to live.televeda.com and join the class once it starts.

Participants can follow along on the TV or projector.
