How to Set a reminder or an upcoming Event

This article will explain how to add a class to your calendar, and how to get an email or text reminder for a class.

Note: You do not need to set a reminder to join an event. All registered community members can join a class without setting a reminder. This guide will help you set up reminders via your calendar, email, call or text.

Find a Class

Here you can find the link to the updated Class Schedule page. You will see the events sorted by date and can browse the events you are interested to join.

You can select the specific date that you want to see the list of scheduled events or you can advance search through the future weeks by clicking on the right arrow

Click on the SET REMINDER Button


A pop-out window will appear with the details of the event

Adding the Event to your Calendar

You can choose from the options below on where you want to add the event

Google Calendar

Click Google
This will redirect you to your google calendar and a pop-out saying "calendar.google.com wants to Show notifications"

Click Allow to Show Notification on your calendar for the event
Click Block to prevent the Notifications for the event

Tip: You can edit/change/set up the notification in google calendar based on your preference

Click the Save Button once you are done

Yahoo Calendar

Click Yahoo
This will redirect you to your yahoo calendar and a pop-out will display with the details of the event

Tip: You can edit/change/set up the notification in google calendar based on your preference

Click the Save Button once you are done


You can also save event files for Apple and Outlook calendars.

Add an Additional reminder via Email or Text

This is optional for members who would also like to receive email and/or text reminders.

Type your Name in the full name field

Type your Email Address in the email field

or

Type your Mobile Number in the number field

Click the Confirm Button to submit the details
