Screen Sharing as a Host Instructor
Guide explaining how to use the Screen Share functionality
NOTE: This feature is currently only available to Instructors and not members. We recommend only Google Chrome or Firefox browsers to host your classes.
Screen Sharing in Google Chrome browser
Screen Share Button: This button allows you to share another screen with the class.
After clicking the button, a pop-out window “choose what to share” will appear
Entire Screen: This will share your entire screen to all the participants
Click the Screen as shown below (will enable the Share button)
Tick Share audio
Click Share to proceed
Click Cancel to close the pop-out window
Window: This will share the selected window only to all the participants
Click the Screen as shown below (will enable the Share button)
Click Share to proceed
Click Cancel to close the pop-out window
Chrome Tab: This will share the selected tab only to all the participants
Select the Tab as shown below (will enable the Share button)
Tick Share audio
Click Share to proceed
Click Cancel to close the pop-out window

Screen Share Button: This button allows you to share another screen with the class.
After clicking the button, a pop-out window “allow live.televeda.com/class” will appear
You can choose which one to share from the drop-down Window or screen:
Entire Screen: This will share your entire screen to all the participants
Window: This will share the selected window only to all the participants
After selecting the screen/window:
Click the Allow Button to proceed
Click Stop Sharing Button to end the screen-sharing
Note: Currently, sharing system audio ONLY works for browsers Chrome and Edge and NOT with Firefox. We highly recommend using Chrome if you need to present videos or any materials that have embedded audio on them.
